Mr. Jim Harlow, M.A., LPC
Tel: 214-683-6800
E-mail: [email protected]
Address: P. O. Box 1412, Forney, TX 75126
Profile: I chose to adopt 5 “special needs” children from 1978-1986 out of the child welfare system. Parenting these children has been a major focus of my adult life. Because of the influence of their chronic abuse, I have a long history of interfacing with the court system, the mental health system, the educational system, and the criminal justice system, advocating for services. This allows me to bring a unique perspective to support parents and foster/adoptive organizations so that they can more consistently and positively address the needs of traumatized children and their families.
